Security Technologies, Turkey, Receives Exports Award

The General Secretariat of the Istanbul Mineral and Metals Exporters' Association (IMMIB) recently presented a third-place award in the Metal Products group to Security Technologies, Turkey, for its 2006 exports.  The award was presented by Turkish State Minister Kursat Tuzmen during a ceremony held by IMMIB to recognize the country’s most successful 2006 exporters.

IMMIB is a professional group with almost 23,000 members who manage export activities, and is affiliated to the Prime Ministry of the Republic of Turkey Undersecretariat for Foreign Trade.  IMMIB members were responsible for 33 percent of Turkey’s 2006 exports.

“Our exports have been growing at a rewarding level,” said Ali Yildirim, business development manager, sales of Security Technologies, Turkey.  “The U.K is our largest export market and our other export areas include the Middle East, Balkans, and some European countries. Our exports are composed mainly of the ITO Kilit, Briton Cisa and Bricard brands.”
