İTO Kilit, founded in 1954, established itself as one of the leading security and safety products provider in Turkey. The company produces door hardware, cylinders, pad locks, master key systems, door closers, and panic exit devices at its manufacturing plant located in Düzce, Turkey.

Today, İTO Kilit is a part of Ingersoll Rand's Security Technologies sector. Ingersoll Rand’s Security Technologies Sector is a leading global provider of products and services that make environments safe, secure and productive. The sector’s market-leading products include electronic and biometric access-control systems; time-and-attendance and personnel scheduling systems; mechanical locks; portable security; door closers, exit devices, architectural hardware, and steel doors and frames; and other technologies and services for global security markets. 

The company’s diverse product portfolio in Turkey is comprised of some of the market-leading brands that make up its Security Technologies Sector.  Hospital locks, hotel type locks, electronic locks, electromagnetic locks, panic exit devices, door closers, stainless steel and antibacterial door levers, pull handles, hinges, and door accessories such as floor stops and wall stops, and biometric access control systems were added to the product range sold in Turkey.   These products are sold under the Briton, Cisa, Glynn-Johnson, Ives, LCN, Locknetics, Normbau, Schlage and Von Duprin brands.

In the beginning of 2006, Ingersoll Rand honored its manufacturing plant in Düzce with the "Center of Excellence" title. The manufacturing plant in Düzce is the main supplier of Briton branded mechanical locks, panic exit devices, and door closers, making the UK as the primary export market of the company. The manufacturing plant also serves as the sourcing center of mechanical products for other Ingersoll Rand Security Technologies brands in Europe.

İTO Kilit products are exported to many countries in the Middle East, Balkans, and European regions and are sold through key distribution channels in Turkey.

The sales structure is made up of a nationwide dealer network in Turkey, and a sales team that is organized in İstanbul, Central Anatolia, Mediterranean, Konya, İzmir, East Anatolia and Black Sea, and Gaziantep regions.
